Penny Yang, MBA
Agency Principal and Founder
Penny grew up in Taiwan and built a well respected career in government administration before immigrating to the United States. After settling in Chicago, she earned an MBA degree and began working full-time as an insurance agent after graduating. Her success as an insurance agent inspired her to give back to her community by helping fellow first and second generation immigrants navigate the complexities of the insurance industry. Her strong desire to provide “Real Coverage and Real Service” motivated her to start an independent insurance brokerage to offer the best possible service offerings to clients, an ethos built into our company to this day.
Grace Yang, CPCU
Commercial Lines and Director Of Operations
Grace has a curiosity for history and new cultures which has led to extensive work and travel all over the US. This active curiosity stays with her whenever she meets each client, always looking to hear the unique stories of the people she meets. After graduating with a business degree at University of Pennsylvania, she worked as an associate at Aon Risk Services. Her desire to help strengthen communities led her to pursue non-profit work at One Hope United as a business manager supporting a variety of programs and services throughout Illinois for children and families. These experiences inspired her to return to insurance brokerage and earn a CPCU certification. She hopes to use her broad and deep expertise in insurance to help businesses, churches, non-profits and families manage risk according to their unique needs. In her spare time, she loves photographing immense natural landscapes and planning her next travel adventure into the wild.
Jamie Maestas
Personal Lines and Director Of Business Development
Jamie grew up in New Mexico, but has lived and worked in Colorado and Central Illinois. Her diverse background includes running a consulting business focused on helping non-profits achieve greater visibility and organize community and client events to support their respective missions. She also built a lengthy career with State Farm where she helped local community businesses and families in Central Illinois find insurance coverage. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time outdoors with her three boys.
Gordon Yang, MBA
Risk Management and Director Of Technology
Gordon grew up in the City of Chicago, but lived and worked in Central Illinois for over a decade, solidifying his strong Midwestern roots. His deep curiosity about the world and very broad interests led him to complete his undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering, build a lengthy career in Information Technology and Sales, and earn an MBA degree. In his spare time, he loves to work on computers, cars, machinery, and various home improvement projects.
